Rising demand for soybean oil in U.S. will change export structure. China will have to turn more to other soybean sources, like Brazil, or accept ready soybean meal from the USA. Also, U.S. export terminals in both Gulf of Mexico and Pacific Northwest will need to be rebuild for “wet” meal instead of dry beans. Biofuel needs are already visable in soybean local U.S. consumption data:
