Freeport LNG finished repairs!

Freeport LNG finished repairs and asked U.S. regulators for permission to take early steps to restart the export terminal.


First introducing LNG into the plant’s piping system would take about 11 days.

Since January 14th, 2023, natural gas has been pumped into the facility. The LNG tankers have been waiting for loading since November 2022

If the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) allows restart, Freeport LNG should be able to export in mid-February 2023.
