Corn will be planted on 92.0 million acres, which is +4.0% y/y.
The most significant rising areas (>+20% y/y) are in:
- North Dakota (+27% y/y),
- Arizona (+25% y/y),
- Washington (+23% y/y),
- Idaho (+22% y/y),
- Mississippi (+21% y/y),
- Virginia (+20% y/y).
The largest area drop (>-10% y/y) is in:
- Wyoming (-11% y/y).
The main states of corn production are:
- Iowa (14.2% of planting area),
- Illinois (12.0% of planting area),
- Nebraska (10.3% of planting area),
- Minnesota (9.1% of planting area),
- South Dakota (6.4% of planting area),
- Kansas (6.1% of planting area),
- Indiana (6.0% of planting area).
Soybean planting area is estimated at 87.5 million acres, a very slight change (under +0.1%) y/y.
The most significant rising areas (>+10% y/y) are in:
- North Dakota (+15% y/y).
The largest area drop (>-5%) is in:
- Kansas (-9% y/y),
- New Jersey (-9% y/y),
- Oklahoma (-8% y/y),

The main states of soybean production are:
- Illinois (12.3% of planting area),
